Sinopsis
Un caballero llamado Raiden (Clive Owen) se ve honrado cuando su maestro y mentor, Bartok (Morgan Freeman), le nombra su único heredero. Su felicidad se desmorona cuando el emisario del corrupto emperador Mott (Aksel Hennie) le obliga a decapitar a su maestro, le expulsa del castillo y le despoja de los títulos.
