Biografía
James Cameron (16 de Agosto de 1954) nació en Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada. Se mudó a EEUU en 1971. Se graduó de física en la Universidad Estatal de California, pero después de graduarse manejó un camión para sustentar su ambición de convertirse en guionista.
En 1984 escribió y dirigió The Terminator, un thriller de acción futurista protagonizado por Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn y Linda Hamilton, la cual fue un gran éxito. Posteriormente le sigue una serie de éxitos de ciencia ficción incluyendo Aliens (1986) y Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). Cameron es uno de los directores de cine más cotizados en Hollywood, tras haber digirido Titanic (1997),, las película más taquillera en su momento, que más tarde sería superada por Avatar (2011) de la cual también fue director.
