Biografía
Taika David Cohen (16 de Agosto de 1975), conocido profesionalmente como Taika Waititi, es un cineasta y actor neozelandés. Ha sido ganador de un Premio de la Academia, y nominado en otras dos ocasiones.
Sus largometrajez Boy (2010) y Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) se convirtieron en las películas más taquilleras de Nueva Zelanda en su momento, la última aún sosteniendo el primer lugar. Codirigió y actuó en la comedia de horror What We Do in the Shadows (2014) con Jemaine Clement. Las películas más recientes de Waititi incluyen la película de superhéroes en el Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel, Thor: Ragnarok (2017), y la comedia negra satírica Jojo Rabbit (2019), de la cual también fue guionista e interpretó a Adolfo Hitler. Jojo Rabbit consiguió aclamación de la crítica. Jojo Rabbit consiguió una nominación al Premio de la Academia a la Mejor Película, y Waititi ganó el Premio de la Academia a Mejor Guión Adaptado.
